The Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA) held its 43rd International Symposium in Washington, DC from July 10–13, 2025, with a pre-conference day on July 9—and PAMANA PH proudly congratulations Dr. Jennifer Yang for her active and impactful participation throughout the event.

On the third day of the symposium, Dr. Yang fulfilled back-to-back presentation duties. She participated in an hour-long panel on adaptive dance, where she discussed clinical considerations in dancers with disabilities, and subsequently introduced Performing Arts Medicine Advocates National Association of the Philippines (PAMANA PH) during the poster parade session—highlighting the Philippines’ growing presence in the global performing arts medicine community. The poster presentation earned an unexpected and well-deserved 2nd place award, a testament to the quality of the team’s scholarship and collaboration.

Dr. Yang’s contributions reflect both academic excellence and a deep commitment to advancing performing arts medicine locally and globally. PAMANA PH celebrates this milestone and looks forward to building on these international connections to further support Filipino performing artists.
